Unless the customer application requires limited operator access through hand switches and indicator lights (or even a blank front panel for complete remote control use); our full line of “Satellite” RTU’s are typically configured with an OIT or HMI that is compatible with the existing equipment at each customer’s site. If there is no customer preference, our system designers typically recommend the use of Telemecanique’s Magelis products for our standard OIT applications; which includes everything from a single line display to large object-oriented graphic and text monitors. If you would prefer an OIT provided by Total Products, Maple Systems, Nematron, CTC, Omron, Cutler & Hammer, PanelView, Azonics, or one of the many other high-quality alternatives; we will customize your RTU to meet all of your needs/specifications. In addition, if you maintain the original source code and development software programs for one these many alternative OIT products, Applitech’s system engineers will adapt your existing display features/functions to execute on your new “Satellite” Series RTU.
Our preferred high-end HMI software application products are all PC-Based, and include Intellution’s iFIX, Wonderware’s InTouch, Afcon’s PCIM, Allen Bradley’s RSView, Siemens WinCC, Citect’s HMI, and numerous other proven HMI development packages. Although we prefer to provide Dell, IBM, or Gateway commercial grade PC’s with our standard product offering, Applitech will provide any current manufacturer of high-quality Intel Pentium-based PC, which the end-customers may use as their corporate standard for their data acquisition/control projects. Our design engineers are experts at incorporating touchscreen, bar code, inductive card readers, RF technology and other data input devices as optional additions to our standard RTU/SCADA systems.
